Our wedding day 19th April 1986 at Emmanuel Church, Wargrave, Newton-le-Willows.

This was a wonderful day, at the rehearsal John kept getting the words wrong, and the lovely Reverend Letheren kept saying, John it's not I do, it's I will, we did laugh, but on the day he got his words right, it was me that was very nervous.

My nan was ecstatic, she had been waiting for the wedding for so long, and could hardly contain her excitement, she had helped to organise it all, and had it all in hand.

John's mother made the cake, it was lovely and everyone admired it .

A work colleague paid for our honeymoon ( a caravan in Wales) another story ha ha, and then back to reality.

We were looking forward to our silver wedding, but alas we only had 9 years of marriage, what dreams and plans we had.
