Whenever I see a rainbow I look for you - I want to see you smiling down on us John, remembering the good times we had together, the love that we shared, it's not just every year you are remembered but every single day - your little grandson Caleb is so very much like you, it's like having a miniature version of you here which is a comfort and if he turns out like you even better, for you were a good man, kind and gentle, caring and loving.

John, 17 long years have passed, it seems like a lifetime, but you are still loved and missed. Not a day goes by when I don't think about you, such happy and wonderful memories of our life together and with Emily. Your beautiful, clever daughter graduated from university this year, I know that you were there smiling, so proudly at her achievement. What plans and aspirations we had for her, you adored her. She has done you proud John! You have two beautiful little "Thornhill's", Caleb and Ella-Terese. Caleb is you all over, tall, shy with a beautiful smile, and Ella-Terese is Emily all over again.
